Cleanup & CleanTmp
Here's a simple
way to clean up temp files from your computer.
Print out these instructions...
CleanTmp
is NOT designed for Windows XP or Windows 2000.
Windows 98
& Windows ME Only! Click on the CleanTmp.exe to
download file. Remember where you downloaded
the file. You will have to go to this folder to run the installation.
This is a self extracting file. When you double-click on it, it will
bring up a window to ask where you want to extract to. I have it setup
already, so just click OK or extract. It is setup to extract to C:\CleanTmp.
Go to My Computer, C:, and find the CleanTmp
folder and double-click on it.
Double-click on the "Install Clean
Temp" icon (little stop light). This will copy the files to where
they need to be so it will run on startup. It should run on startup
now and keep things clean. It might take several minutes to run the
first time, so don't be alarmed.

Windows 98
& Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP.
This
program has to be run manually.
Follow the same steps for downloading the CleanUp.exe
file. After downloading, go to the folder you downloaded it to.
Double-click on Cleanup.exe. This is a self extracting file.
When you double-click on it, it will bring up a window to ask where you want
to extract to. I have it setup already, so just click OK or extract.
It is setup to extract to C:\Program Files\Cleanup!.
Go to My Computer, C:, Program Files, Cleanup!.
Double-click on the Cleanup! folder. Highlight the "Shortcut to
Cleanup!". Right click on the shortcut and then left click on
Cut. Close all the windows and get back to the Desktop. Right
click anywhere on the Desktop and right click. Left click on Paste.
Your shortcut should be on the Desktop and you can run it anytime you feel
like it.
